Biography

Saara began her life in circus as a child when she started training at Sorin Sirkus in Finland. Today, she moves seamlessly between the roles of director, circus artist, scenographer, and costume designer – always with a strong focus on visual storytelling at the core.

Saara’s artistic work is characterised by a poetic visual language and a creative use of materials – where textiles often play a meaningful and symbolic role.

In addition to her artistic talents, her extensive experience in circus makes her a natural part of our artistic advisory board and as the artistic leader for our events.
