Continuation course from 12 years

Reach new heights
The aerial acrobatics course is a continuation course for you who have already found your home above the ground. The training focuses on trapeze, silks, rope and ring. You work with our aerial specialist educators on both technique and artistic expression. You will train in all aerial disciplines, as having a broad base as an aerial acrobat is essential.
Age: from 12 years, no upper age limit.
City: Stockholm
Botkyrka residents under 20 have a 600 SEK discount on our term courses in Alby.
Day and Time: Every Sunday, but the time varies based on age. Check the term timetable.
Term timetable, spring 2024
Experience needed
To start the aerial acrobatics course, you must have trained circus with us or at another circus school for at least two semesters. After taking part in the aerial acrobatics course for a few semesters, you can move on to the even more advanced Aerial Acrobatics Step 2. You should be able to:
Trapeze & Ring
You must be able to maintain the correct grip and swing by the knees, bring yourself from hanging to standing and down again in a controlled manner, and execute at least four tricks. For Aerial Acrobatics Stage 2, you must also be able to hang in the pike position, balance on your stomach and forward-roll to pike or knee hang.
Silks
You need to be able to climb, do a foot knot and perform two tricks. For Aerial Acrobatics Stage 2, you also need to be able to hang the pike position and get to the "catcher".

Aerial acrobatics
An aerial acrobat performs tricks using, for example, a trapeze, rope, ring or silks. The tricks can consist of swinging, balancing and moving between different poses.
