Tobias Ulfvebrand is a dancer, actor, and musician.

Biography

Tobias is educated at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and the Stockholm University of the Arts, and today has a career that spans across the globe. He has worked at some of Sweden's leading performing arts institutions, including Cullbergbaletten, Dramaten, the Royal Opera, Dockteatern Tittut, and Regionteater Väst.

As one of the founders of the performing arts duo TUBO, he creates concepts, music, and choreography. The performances Vill ha hund! And SNÖ were selected for Bibu – the Performing Arts Biennale for Children and Young People in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The dance piece Avig, in collaboration with Dramaten and Dansens Hus in Stockholm, was awarded the Theater Critics' Prize for Best Children's and Youth Theater in 2024. In addition to institutional engagements and his work with TUBO, Tobias has participated in several interdisciplinary collaborations, including as a drummer in the cult group Sirqus Alfon and with the musician Kristin Amparo.
