Discipline – Diabolo
What is Diabolo?
Diabolo is a discipline within the category of juggling, which involves manipulating objects. A diabolo set consists of two sticks connected by a string and an hourglass-shaped object called a diabolo. The artist holds the sticks and spins the diabolo on the string to throw it into the air, catch it, wrap it, bounce it, or spin it upwards even though gravity points downwards. It is also possible to juggle multiple diabolos simultaneously on the string. One person typically performs the discipline, but exchanges between artists are common.
