The Contemporary Circus Program is one of a kind in Sweden. It is a unique collaboration between St Botvids Upper Secondary School and Circus Cirkör. All circus training takes place in the Cirkör House, which is one of northern Europe's most modern circus halls. The upper secondary school students train alongside professional artists at the Cirkör House. Teachers are well trained and have international experience. As a upper secondary school student, you will train acrobatics, tightwire, juggling, aerial acrobatics, dance, etc. You will work on various projects - individually and in groups - during your three years in the program. Throughout the years you will take part in different workshops - street dance and dance performances, direction and clown. Together with the other students in you class you there will be study  visits and theatregoings. Dare to test your limits and try new things!

  • Artistic projects - group work and individual
  • Student trip to France in year two
  • Perform in shows open to the public
  • A lot of physical training
  • Supportive atmosphere

THE FUTURE?
The aesthetic program is an academic program. The education provides general eligibility for colleges and universities. Many of the former students are studying at artistic colleges and universities today, in Sweden as well as in other countries such as England, France, Denmark, Belgium and Canada.
